Zink-aluminium (ZA)-legeringer har et lidt h\u00f8jere smelteomr\u00e5de p\u00e5 800<sup>o<\/sup>F til 900<sup>o<\/sup>F (426<sup>o<\/sup>C til 482<sup>o<\/sup>C). Aluminium- og magnesiumlegeringer anses for at v\u00e6re legeringer med moderat smeltepunkt og st\u00f8bes i omr\u00e5det 1150<sup>o<\/sup>F til 1300<sup>o<\/sup>F (621<sup>o<\/sup>C til 704<sup>o<\/sup>C)-omr\u00e5de. Kobberlegeringer anses for at v\u00e6re h\u00f8jsmeltende, over 1650<sup>o<\/sup>F (899<sup>o<\/sup>C). Legeringer med lavt smeltepunkt st\u00f8bes i varmekammermaskiner. Legeringer med mellemh\u00f8jt og h\u00f8jt smeltepunkt st\u00f8bes i koldkammermaskiner. I de senere \u00e5r er der kommet specialdesignede varmekammermaskiner til trykst\u00f8bning af magnesiumlegeringer.<\/span><\/small><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #881d4a;
