Les alliages d'aluminium et de magn\u00e9sium sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme des alliages \u00e0 point de fusion mod\u00e9r\u00e9 ; ils sont coul\u00e9s dans la fourchette 1150<sup>o<\/sup>F \u00e0 1300<sup>o<\/sup>F (621<sup>o<\/sup>C \u00e0 704<sup>o<\/sup>C). Les alliages de cuivre sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme ayant un point de fusion \u00e9lev\u00e9, sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 1650<sup>o<\/sup>F (899<sup>o<\/sup>C). Les alliages \u00e0 bas point de fusion sont coul\u00e9s dans des machines \u00e0 chambre chaude. Les alliages \u00e0 point de fusion moyen et \u00e9lev\u00e9 sont coul\u00e9s dans des machines \u00e0 chambre froide. Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, des machines \u00e0 chambre chaude sp\u00e9cialement con\u00e7ues pour le moulage sous pression des alliages de magn\u00e9sium ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mises en
