Kopparlegeringar anses ha h\u00f6g sm\u00e4ltpunkt, \u00f6ver 1650<sup>o<\/sup>F (899<sup>o<\/sup>C). Legeringar med l\u00e5g sm\u00e4ltpunkt gjuts i varmkammarmaskiner. Legeringar med medelh\u00f6g och h\u00f6g sm\u00e4ltpunkt gjuts i kallkammarmaskiner.
